A year ago my Aunt moved into Clarendale of Mokena and while the transition was not easy for her, the team made all the difference. Moving from her longtime home into a senior living community can be emotional and overwhelming, but the staff showed incredible patience, compassion and genuine care every step of the way. From the very beginning, they took the time to get to know her and our family, understand her needs, and help her feel comfortable and welcome. Since moving in, we have seen her build relationships, become more engaged, and truly call Clarendale home. What stands out most is the people: the team goes consistently above and beyond, treating people with dignity, comfort and respect. Knowing that she is surrounded by caring professionals gives our family tremendous peace of mind. I've lived here now 3 years. The staff is fun and I really enjoy all the things that we can do, because it's set up for aging adults. While it's too hard at my age to have a dog depend on me, by being here I visit 2 dogs that I love as if they are mine. I cannot even begin to explain how amazing Clarendale is for a resident and their family! My mother has been at Clarendale for 3 years. Started in senior living and now has moved to assisted living. I wouldn’t want her anywhere else. Staff always friendly the facility always clean. I would recommend Clarendale for their assisted living facility for your loved one. They have great food. The nurses are great and loving; the physical therapy department is top-notch. The rooms are nice. The managers really care. The TV access is great. The bathrooms are great. I can’t say enough. You have access to doctors that can come into visit your loved one. You have access to medical testing such as on-site x-rays. They hold your room if you have to visit the hospital for an illness. Their rules and regulations about visiting the facility during the Covid epidemic were top-notch. The whole Clarendale personnell does an excellent job, goes out of their way continually to make sure we are being taken care of and our needs are filled. Jonathon has done a fantastic job in the kitchen, and the food is the best it's been in the 4.5 years I've lived here! The girls at the concierge desk are fantastic, all the office managers are fantastic. I don't know what else I can say! We had a lovely lunch this afternoon.  The staff was  very nice and welcoming and the food was great! This makes me feel better having a loved one that lives there
